Psalm 46:10 NKJV

Be still, and know that I  am  God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

Sometimes we just need to be still and know that God is God. The word in Hebrew for know can be translated “to learn to know, to perceive, to learn by experience”. To be still and trust in God comes through learning by experience that God is who He says He is.

The word in Hebrew to be still means to “sink, relax, sink down, let drop, etc.”. What ever your going through right now, despite how much it hurts, how much it worries you or how scary it is, it is time to relax and be still, to let drop what ever it is that is bothering you and learn to know that God is God. He can handle what your going through, and He is perfectly capable of getting His plan and will done in our lives.

God will be exalted in the earth, that is His overall desire and plan for us here. So although you don’t see a way to exalt God for what your going through you will learn to know that God allowed it to bring glory to His name.

Be still, relax, and learn to know that God is God.
